More and more am I freeing myself as I become aware as to Tim’s ukemi, which has improved much since he started at Puriton Aikido. Being able to feel safe when it comes to using pain and throws on ‘the one that endures’, is going to help my progress again.
There are emulations of attack that have room for improvement from students, and when these and the ukemi reach a few more notches in the right direction – whoop!
The club had a generous donation from Kevin yesterday evening, so I would like to thank you once more. Funds are thin on the ground. One or two new students would soon keep the club paying the hall bill at the end of the month. So if anyone is interested or know of someone they could talk to, please do.
If West Huntspill or Burnham is closer to where you live, you may want to check out the West Huntspill Aikido Club, where Sensei John Creed takes classes on a Wednesday, or the newly opened Keiko Shokon Aikido in Burnham, run by Sensei Chris Gee on a Tuesday and Thursday.
If you happen to be in the Weston-super-mare area then I can recommend Rising Sun Aikido as a warm, fun club full of new friends to meet.
If you have any questions about aikido, classes or improving your mind and body then know there are wise people available to help you.
